From director Jordan Vogt-Roberts comes, in 2017, the second installment in Kong film series, titled Kong: Skull Island.
Set in the 1970s, the movie, which is based on Merian C. Cooper’s “King Kong”, follows a team of explorers who adventure into an uncharted Pacific island, not knowing that there the giant gorilla Kong lives. The cast includes Samuel L. Jackson, John Goodman, Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Toby Kebbel, Jing Tian, John Ortiz, Jason Mitchell, Shea Whigham, Terry Notary, Thomas Mann, Marc Evan Jackson, Tom Wilkinson, Will Britain and others.
Kong: Skull Island is slated to be released in the US on March 10, 2017.
