Scandal returns to ABC with its sixth season, on January 19, 2017.
The TV drama series produced by ABC Studios in association with ShondaLand Production Company continues with the story of Olivia Pope’s crisis management firm and its staff as they deal with the political scandals occurring at the White House.
The new season, which will continue to air on Thursdays, at 9pm, will have 16 episodes, not 22 as the previous seasons, due to Kerry Washington’s pregnancy.
“In just the first minutes alone you’re not going to know what hit you” – says the voiceover in the trailer for the upcoming season.
