ITV’s Vicious finale special will air on Friday, December 16, at 9pm.
The British television sitcom created by Mark Ravenhill and Gary Janetti revolves around elderly gay couple Freddie and Stuart, who have been living together for 48 years and now, that their careers are over, don’t have anything else to do but entertain their guests, reading books, walking their dog, and squabbling over all kind of things.
The hour-long finale special depicts a year in the lives of the two protagonists, who try to hide their recently gained inheritance. Their friends, who must deal with financial problems, are about to realize, though, what Freddie and Stuart attempt to do.
The cast includes Ian McKellen and Derek Jacobi as Freddie and Stuart, respectively, Frances de la Tour, Iwan Rheon, Marcia Warren, Philip Voss and others.
The opening theme of the series is “Never Can Say Goodbye” by The Communards.
