Showtime 2017 Series: Dark Net (Season 2)
Dark Net returns to Showtime on April 6, with its second season. The TV channel has released a teaser trailer for
the documentary series, inviting you to not miss the new episodes, premiering Thursday, April 6, at 10 PM ET/PT.
The TV series, created by Mati Kochavi, explores the dark side of technology, and themes such as cyber-kidnapping,
online cults, digital warfare, biohacking, pornography addiction, violence and trolling via social media, and many more. It also analyzes the impact of technology on children, love, sex, power, our senses, our memories, our identities and even our physical selves.
The promo for the upcoming season, promising to bring real tech and real stories into the spotlight, raises thought-provoking questions, such as “How does technology hurt you?”, “How does technology help you?”, “How does technology seduce you?”, “How does technology threaten you?”.
Dark Net premiered on January 21, 2016, and it was renewed for a second season in March 2016.
