Audience Network 2017 Series: Kingdom – Season 3 (Trailer Song)
An exclusive trailer for the third and last season of the martial arts family drama series Kingdom has been released.
The clip, set to the rhythms of “The Blood” by gospel quartet The Zion Travelers, focuses mainly on Alvey’s decision to return to the cage, with his voice in the background talking about his feelings and what pushes him to do this.
“Never looked down the road. There’s nothing to see. (…) That’s how I live. You win, you are on your own terms, you lose, they push you out. Where do you fit in this world? Don’t ever think it’s safe ’cause when your head’s down, that when you get caught. I’m gonna fight again, I gotta feel.” says Alvey, portrayed by Frank Grillo,
adding that he needs to feel his “full range of emotions” and be who he was.
The series, set against the world of Mixed Martial Arts in Venice, California, revolves around Alvey Kulina, a former MMA fighter who is now trainer at his own gym, Navy St. MMA, that he’s trying to keep in business, and father of two young boys, Jay and Nate, with whom he has complicated relationships.
The cast ensemble includes also Kiele Sanches, Jonathan Tucker, Nick Jonas, Joanna Going, Matt Lauria, and others.
The upcoming season, consisting of ten episodes, is set to premiere on Wednesday, May 31 at 8 p.m. ET on AT&T’s
Audience Network, AT&T U-verse, and the new streaming service DIRECTV NOW.
