SYFY 2018 Series: Krypton
A first trailer tease for the new Superman prequel series Krypton, coming to SYFY in 2018, has been released.
According to the official synopsis, the upcoming show is set two generations before the destruction of the legendary Man of Steel’s home planet and follows Superman’s grandfather, whose House of El was ostracized and shamed, as he fights to redeem his family’s honor and save his beloved world from chaos.
The trailer, which debuted at the San Diego Comic-Con with the message “In 2018 discover the lineage of a legend”, features the “S” shield, the symbol of the House of El, and only one line: “The blood of House El will always bind us together.”, told, most probably, by Superman’s grandfather, the star of the series, Seg-El.
Developed by David S. Goyer and Damian Kindler, Krypton stars Georgina Campbell, Cameron Cuffe, Ian McElhinney, Ann Ogbomo, Elliot Cowan, Rasmus Hardiker, Wallis Day and Aaron Pierre.
