Netflix Movies: The Babysitter (Trailer Song)
Netflix has released the trailer for the upcoming comedy film The Babysitter, starring Judah Lewis and Samara Weaving.
The film, written by Brian Duffield and directed by McG, follows Cole (Judah Lewis), a 12-year-old boy in love with his beautiful and funny babysitter, named Bee (Samara Weaving), who discovers, one night, when he secretely stays up his bedtime, that she is actually a cold-blooded killer. Moreover, she is the member of a satanic cult, so she has a band of killers with her that set out to kill him, as well, so that he couldn’t reveal their dark secret. His night turns, thus, into a fight for survival.
The cast also includes Bella Thorne, Hana Mae Lee, Robbie Amell, Leslie Bibb, Emily Alyn Lind, Andrew Bachelor, Chris Wylde, Doug Haley, and others.
The trailer, soundtracked by Soft Cell’s 1981 hit version of “Tainted Love”, features the moment Cole finds out the truth about Bee, who stabs a guy into his head while having a blast downstairs. He calls 991 and then starts trying to escape the band of killers. One of the scenes, revealing that Cole gets caught and tied to a chair, shows him opening his eyes and asking why one of Bee’s friends is shirtless. “Really? This is your first question?” – another guy asks in bewilderment. The action-packed trailer also reveals that Bella Thorne’s character gets shot in a boob by a police officer.
The Babysitter is set to be released by the streaming service on October 13.
