2017 Movies: Fun Mom Dinner (Trailer Song)
The official trailer for the upcoming comedy Fun Mom Dinner, set to be released in select theaters and on demand August 4, has been dropped.
Written by Julie Rudd and directed by Alethea Jones, the film follows four moms as they decide to go out together for a harmless “fun mom dinner”. While the dinner begins as a disaster, the ladies having – apparently – only their kids preschool class as common ground, throughout the night things take an unexpected turn. The ingredients that make it a fun night, after all, prove to be alcohol, karaoke, a handsome bartender, and more.
The cast ensemble includes Toni Collette, Molly Shannon, Katie Aselton and Bridget Everett as the four moms, Adam Levine as the hot bartender, Kathryn Prescott, Rob Huebel, Adam Scott, Paul Rust, Sam Lerner, Paul Rudd, David Wain, and John Early.
The trailer, carrying the message “Every mom needs a timeout to go”, features the arrangements the four moms make before going out and some of their “adventures” on the wild night, including karaoke, dancing, drinking alcohol, smoking weed in a bathroom, having some snacks, looking for one of them, who leaves with the bartender, and playing “Never Have I Ever” on a boat.
The song used in the trailer is “Take Me Away” by Clooney, included on the 2012 album “Superpop (Girls Rule)”.
